 in Natchez. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Foster of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. James Shivers of Pelham, Alabama.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Mori Lee gown of pearl duchess satin. The sweetheart neckline was trimmed in champagne satin featuring rows of crystal bugle beads and a dramatic crystal medallion. The gown was richly decorated with embroidery and pearl beading beading,

The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Judson W. Hurt. A program of nuptial music was provided by Lucy Dykes, Carole Foster, Julie Hudson, Brandae Miller, and Chris Turner, accompanied by Linda Heard, Tommi Jo Hurt, and Kathleen Mackey King.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at First Baptist Church parlor and reception room, where friends and family of the couple served as hostesses.
