Fortune Brands chairman Norm Wesley has announced his retirement, with current president and CEO Bruce Carbonari set to replace him.


Fortune Brands chairman Norm Wesley has announced his retirement, with current president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Bruce Bruce, Scottish royal family descended from an 11th-century Norman duke, Robert de Brus. He aided William I in his conquest of England (1066) and was given lands in England.  Carbonari set to replace him. Wesley said that he would retire as chairman with immediate effect, after nine years in the post and two decades with Fortune Brands. Current CEO Bruce Carbonari will replace him, said the U.S. group, which owns brands such as Courvoisier, Sauza and Maker's Mark Maker's Mark is a hand crafted small batch type of bourbon whisky distilled in Loretto, Kentucky.

 via its Beam Global Spirits & Wine business. One of Carbonari's main tasks will be to help Beam Global in its transition from the four-member Maxxium Worldwide distribution venture to a new bilateral bilateral /bi·lat·er·al/ (-lat´er-al) having two sides, or pertaining to both sides.
