 has published a new report that examines and analyses the web sites of the 20 largest banks in Europe.

The results showed that the best sites did not pass the overall usability How easy something is to use. Both software and Web sites can be tested for usability. Considering how difficult applications are to use and Web sites are to navigate, one would wish that more designers took this seriously. See user interface and usability lab.  targets set by Forrester. The company also stated that British and German banks were found to have better web sites in general than Italian, French and Spanish ones.

Forrester evaluated the sites by grading how easy it was to apply to purchase a loan or insurance product, transferring funds across accounts and finding information on online banking.
