Company Reinforces Commitment to Transforming Drug Discovery Process

with Hire of Pharmaceutical Veteran

MDS Proteomics, a leading proteomics-based drug discovery company, today announced the addition of Ley S. Smith, former executive vice president and president of Upjohn, Inc.'s (now Pharmacia Corporation, NYS: PHA) US Pharma Product Center, to its board of directors. Smith's 35 years of work with Upjohn provides MDS Proteomics with valuable insight into the pharmaceutical industry.
