Former RAA exec joins Tierra Verde Industries and E-Recycling of California.

) and E-Recycling of California (ERC (database) ERC - An extended entity-relationship model. ) have announced the hiring of Kevin P. McCarthy as business development manager for their recycling operations.

"We have incredible growth opportunities in our core recycling lines of business in C&D, composting and e-recycling," McCarthy says. "We see our mission as helping California communities meet and exceed their mandated recycling goals."

McCarthy was previously with Waste Management for more than 12 years. Most recently, he served as vice president of governmental affairs for Recycle America Alliance. Prior to that, he was the director of electronics recycling.

ERC is a division of Paramount Resource Recycling and operates electronics recycling facilities in Paramount and Hayward, Calif.
