The new hires are Dave Canelis, vice president of services, Olivier Gachot, vice president of sales, Fred Gallagher vice president of global alliances, and Paola Lubet, vice president of marketing. In addition to the new corporate leadership, Qlusters has expanded operations with a new subsidiary in London and its third North American North American

Gachot joins Qlusters as vice president of worldwide sales to expand global operations. Most recently, Gachot was senior vice president for sales and marketing at ePeople. Previously, as senior vice president of international operations for Actuate, Olivier grew international operations from less than $100,000 in revenue to a 130-person, $38 million business in four years. Gachot also served as the CEO of CosmosBay in Boston and president and COO of Decalog. Starting his sales career in Europe with DEC, Gachot then progressed to sales management at Sybase, and subsequently served as vice president of European operations for Interleaf Desktop publishing software that was widely used for DOS, Windows 95/98, NT, and a variety of Unix-based computers from Interleaf, Inc., Waltham, MA. Interleaf's full-featured program supported a large number of document and image types, including its ability to handle extremely long . He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in management information systems from the University of Rouen in France.

Gallagher brings to Qlusters 14 years of high tech alliance and business development experience. In his new capacity, Gallagher will be responsible for initiating strategic partnerships that will assist in the exponential growth Extremely fast growth. Gallagher joins Qlusters from VMware, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EMC Corporation, where he was responsible for worldwide software alliances. Gallagher holds a bachelor's degree in quantitative economics and a master's of business administration degree from Stanford University.

Lubet brings to Qlusters over 15 years of industry experience at both established and emerging companies. As vice president of worldwide marketing, she is responsible for Qlusters' strategic, product, field and corporate marketing. Lubet was previously vice president of product marketing at PeopleSoft, where she conceived and launched the PeopleSoft AppConnect product suite, driving the company's entrance into the business process integration space. Prior to PeopleSoft, Lubet spent 7 years at Oracle where, as senior director of database product marketing, she was responsible for marketing Oracle's $2.5 billon bil·lon
