Former Microsoft Director Adrian King Joins BiTMICRO NETWORKS Advisory Board; Microsoft Pioneer Sees Company's Potential in the Network Storage Industry.

BiTMICRO NETWORKS, Inc., developer of high performance flash disk, solid-state disk and network storage solutions, today announced that former Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq:MSFT) Director of Operating System Products Adrian King, has joined its Advisory Board.

King was a pioneer with Microsoft Corporation when he joined the fledgling company in 1984 as the XENIX Product Manager. He later assumed the position of Director of Operating Systems Products where he was responsible for the product development and management of the early versions of Microsoft operating systems, including MS DOS, Windows/386 and OS/2. Under his tenure, he was also tasked with the introduction of several of Microsoft's major systems software products and acted as liaison with the computer publication press for many of Microsoft systems products. He has also served with Microsoft as Assistant General Manager of the Networking Products Unit.

King is presently the Chief Technology Officer of Satellite Marketing, Inc. He has also authored 'Inside Windows 95', the official design expose of the product for Microsoft Press. The book has been translated into 19 languages, has sold over 300,000 copies worldwide and has been awarded the prestigious Excellence Award by the Society for Technical Communications.

He was also Vice-President of Engineering for Artisoft (Nasdaq:ASFT) from 1991-92 and was responsible for all product design, development, test and management activities for the makers of LANtastic which at that time was the leading LAN product for small and medium sized businesses and was consistently the winner of the highly coveted PC Magazine Editor's Choice award for its product category.
