Former Disney Executive Joins Enesco; Nicklin to Lead Walt Disney Classics Collection Transition and Enesco's New Premier Channel of Distribution.

ITASCA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 2003

Enesco Group, Inc. (NYSE:ENC), a leader in the giftware, collectible and home decor industry, today announced that David Nicklin, a former Disney executive, joined the company as General Manager of Enesco's new Premier channel of distribution. Nicklin's initial priority will be to lead the transition of the Walt Disney Classics Collection and the Walt Disney Collectors Society to Enesco that will take place in January 2004. In September, Enesco was named the exclusive licensee for the Walt Disney Classics Collection and will assume the management of the Collectors Society.

With the transition firmly established, Nicklin will develop Enesco's new Premier channel of distribution. Nicklin's objective is to develop and distribute high-end product, including those from the Walt Disney Classics Collection, for boutiques, jewelry stores, upscale department stores, among others.

Prior to joining Enesco, Nicklin was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Walt Disney Art Classics, based in California. Previously, he was Disney's Regional Director - Europe, where he managed Walt Disney Art Classics' sales and distribution, and held key relationships with Goebel and Royal Doulton. Nicklin also held management positions with Royal Doulton, Syratech and Lilliput Lane.
