Former Aster/Advanstar executive launches "Inside GNSS".

Glen Gibbons (Eugene, OR), a former executive at Aster Publishing, and later Advanstar Communications, and the founder of "GPS World" magazine, a title that is now part of Questex Media (Newton, MA), has begun the publication of "Inside GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System)," a new magazine for the GPS (global positioning system) technology industry, with an issue in March.

The new title will be published eight times a year with a controlled circulation of 40,000 product designers, system integrators, technical managers, manufacturers and service providers, as well as military, government and corporate procurement professionals throughout the world. The magazine is described as a business and technology magazine covering the policies, programs, engineering and "most challenging" applications of GPS, Galileo and GLONASS and related technologies.

Content for the magazine includes information on space-based positioning, navigation and timing, radio science, geodesy, electronic engineering, digital signal processing, market development, product design and system integration across industries. Editorial will focus on such topics as GNSS interoperability, wireless communications, military GPS, sensor integration, new products, systems modernization, power, industry contracts, and human engineering.
