Formation Systems today announced the appointment of Daniel Keelan as president and chief executive officer. Prior to joining Formation Systems, Mr. Keelan was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of i2 Technologies' Network Operations and Business Development. In this role he directed i2's efforts in building networked-based services and developing alliances and sales channels. Previously at i2 he held positions as Managing Director, Europe Middle East & Africa in Brussels, Belgium, Vice President of Sales, West and Central USA in Dallas, TX, and Vice President and General Manager Asia Pacific & Japan located in Melbourne, Australia. In addition, Mr. Keelan held various sales and management positions at Oracle Corporation and IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company.
