MY uncle was in the BlackWatch and fought alongside Gurkhas with Wavell's Chindits in Burma during World War Two. He would be livid livid /liv·id/ (liv´id) discolored, as from a contusion or bruise; black and blue.

 selling the Big Issue in all our towns and cities, and many other foreign nationals, who have given nothing to our country, allowed to stay and enjoy the benefits that these men fought so hard to establish in our land.
