The Road Runners Club of America The Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) is a trade association of local running clubs and other running-related organization, which seeks to promote grass-roots running and fitness in the United States.  is holding its fourth annual National Run to Work Day on Friday September 15. Is bipedal bipedal adjective Capable of locomotion on 2 feet  commuting in your future? Before you answer, consider the upside--no traffic snarls, no tolls, and an opportunity to lord your fitness over your co-workers.

Runners interested in commuting on foot are urged to choose a safe, convenient and pleasant route, and to plot the basics in advance--where to shower, which clothes to change into, and how to get home. As always, safety is paramount, so dress in light-colored gear and follow accepted rules of the road. And, if a full-fledged commute isn't feasible, consider a truncated truncated adjective Shortened , midday or alternative run to celebrate the day.
