Forester Comm. launches "Water Efficiency".


Forester Communications (Santa Barbara Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850. , CA), the producer of magazines and events in the water treatment, energy and landscaping sectors, has begun the publication of "Water Efficiency" with an August/September issue. The new title has a controlled circulation of 25,000 water efficiency and conservation professionals throughout North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

Circulation includes municipal/city/county officials, district/ regional authority officials, state, federal and government agency professionals, and executives at private water companies, water utilities, wastewater entities, as well as engineers, contractors, developers, dealers, distributors, manufacturers and construction firms. The new title is "the only national publication focusing exclusively on the water-loss concerns of businesses, commercial, agricultural, municipal and industrial facilities," Forester said, and serves to "accelerate the national dialogue on water conservation-related concerns."

Content for the magazine will include information on water efficiency and energy, buildings and land, businesses, communities, residential and commercial construction, wastewater treatment, new technologies and materials, leach-fields, water-efficient landscaping, drinking water drinking water

supply of water available to animals for drinking supplied via nipples, in troughs, dams, ponds and larger natural water sources; an insufficient supply leads to dehydration; it can be the source of infection, e.g. leptospirosis, salmonellosis, or of poisoning, e.g.
 quality, environmental concerns, new state and federal legislative and regulatory actions, and cooling and heating.
