Forensic Accounting Industry Veteran Edward McDonough Joins Alvarez & Marsal Dispute Analysis & Forensic Services as Managing Director.

PHOENIX -- Alvarez & Marsal Dispute Analysis & Forensic Services, LLC, an affiliate of leading independent global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal, announced that Edward McDonough, a nationally regarded forensic accounting professional and litigation adviser, has joined the firm as a managing director. He is based in Phoenix.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience, Mr. McDonough specializes in accounting, dispute and forensic analysis, bankruptcy litigation and valuation services. Over the course of his long consulting career, he has testified in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings throughout the U.S. Mr. McDonough has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including casino/gaming, hotel/ resorts, construction, high technology, intellectual property, insurance, retail, broadcasting, E-commerce, transportation, real estate, healthcare, multi-level marketing and services.

Mr. McDonough began his consulting career in the audit practice of Coopers & Lybrand and most recently served as a senior managing director with FTI Consulting. He previously served as chief financial officer for Paloma Corporation, a real estate development firm.

Mr. McDonough received a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in administration from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He holds the ABV designation from the AICPA, and is a member of the AICPA, the Arizona and Nevada State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, as well as an associate member of Certified Fraud Examiners, the American Bar Association and the Appraisal Institute.
