There were 643 new residential foreclosures in the five boroughs, and 19.52% increase from the second quarter of last year.

73% of New York City foreclosures were Queens and Brooklyn properties. Queens led the city with 324 foreclosures, a whopping 102% hike on last year's numbers, while the Bronx saw a 77% increase and Staten Island Staten Island (1990 pop. 378,977), 59 sq mi (160 sq km), SE N.Y., in New York Bay, SW of Manhattan, forming Richmond co. of New York state and the borough of Staten Island of New York City.  a 58.82% jump since last quarter.

PropertyShark.com recorded 3,793 first-time trustee sales in Los Angeles, 643 foreclosure auctions in New York City and 1,282 in Miami-Dade County for April-June 2007. When ranked among foreclosures per household, Miami had 136% more properties scheduled for foreclosure per household than Los Angeles, and a 775% higher rate per household than New York City.

In Seattle's King County, there were 334 new trustee sales in the first quarter of 2007, a 13.02% decrease from the first quarter of 2007.
