Ford recalls newsletter subscriptions.


Earlier this year the Ford Motor Company told employees to cancel all company-paid magazine and newspaper subscriptions--in a move apparently favoring favoring

Employees were instructed to end subscriptions by November 30 and seek a refund for any balance.

NL/NL asked the Ford people whether the ban included "subscriptions to professional newsletters." An edict can be distinguished from a public proclamation in that an edict puts a new statute into effect whereas a public proclamation is no more than a declaration of a law
