Those wishing to delve deeply into the intricacies of the current car or its predecessors had best use Edsall's book as a guide to discovering the lineage of the GT, then using this information to look elsewhere for detailed coverage of those vehicles. Which is as it should be, otherwise Ford GT: The Legend Comes to Life would have covered 10 times its 144 pages, and not hit the presses until years after the GT goes out of production. These, however, are topics for another day--and another book or two--whereas Ford GT: The Legend Comes to Life is a book for here and now. For most readers, it is a light but complete meal, but enthusiasts may find it to be a great starter for a larger feast.--CAS |
