Force10 Networks Fastest Growing 10 Gigabit Ethernet Vendor According to Dell'Oro Group.

MILPITAS, Calif. -- Force10 Networks was the fastest growing modular 10 Gigabit Ethernet vendor in the industry during the first quarter of 2005, increasing sales by 20 percent quarter over quarter, according to Dell'Oro's most recent Ethernet switch report. And with a 36 percent increase in port shipments, Force10 is now second only to Cisco Systems in modular 10 Gigabit Ethernet market share. Increasing demand for the TeraScale E-Series family of switch/routers and a broadening of its worldwide customer base drove Force10's rapid growth during a quarter that saw a general decline in the category versus the previous quarter.
