JOHN CLARK John Clark is the name of:
  • John Clark (actor/director) (born 1932), ex-husband of Lynn Redgrave
  • John Clark (governor) (1761-1821), American farmer and governor of Delaware
  • John Clark (Georgia governor) (1766-1832), American politician and governor of Georgia
 (Letters, November 22) and I, along with several others, have been here before.

I first supported his views on ambushing jockeys at the end of races via the letters column on January 14, 2005, and in the near five years since other readers have commented in similar vein.

Surely the time has come when Channel 4 is called to account for persistently thrusting a microphone under the winning jockey's nose as soon as he or she has passed the winning post. The question is never more enlightening en·light·en
