) and leader in embedded computing, today announced it will be among the initial participants in the new Intel(R) Applied Computing Platform See platform.  Provider program.

As part of the program, Force will work with Intel to deliver Intel Architecture-based board- and system-level solutions to communications customers.

Applied computing refers to market segments consisting of systems designed for connected, high performance dedicated applications that enhance business information on the Internet/intranets.

Force is one of a few select companies to participate initially in this program. Force's participation in the program cements its technology leadership in the embedded board-level and systems market and ensures early access to technology for its customers in the communications market.

In addition, the two companies will participate in joint marketing and development activities, which will strengthen the products, and services that result from the relationship.
