Tokyo Tokyo (tō`kēō), city (1990 pop. 8,163,573), capital of Japan and of Tokyo prefecture, E central Honshu, at the head of Tokyo Bay. , Japan, Aug 29, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - For-side.com and Papyless announced on August 29 that they have formed a strategic alliance for a mobile electronic book service.

As the market for cellular handsets continues expanding, the two companies will jointly develop e-books and other mobile content services. The Japanese e-book market is expected to reach 110 billion yen ($1.0 bil) in 2010.
