Caption: At 114-plus, Emiliano Mercado Del Toro Emiliano Mercado del Toro (Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, August 21, 1891 - Isabela, Puerto Rico, January 24, 2007) was the world's oldest person for six weeks, the world's oldest man from November 19, 2004 to his death, and the oldest verified military veteran ever, though he was a , seated, is the oldest fully authenticated man living in the world and oldest veteran, according to Guinness World Records. A Member of Chapter 21, he is visited, from left, by Hospital Service Coordinator and Department of Puerto Rico Service Officer Edgardo Vega, Department Commander A. Ariel Rodriguez, Supervisory National Service Officer Angel L. Torres-Rodriguez, Chapter 21 Commander Jose L. Gutierrez and Chapter 21 Adjutant ADJUTANT. A military officer, attached to every battalion of a regiment. Isabela is spread over 13 wards and Isabela Pueblo (The downtown area and the administrative center of the city). , and was born on Aug. 21, 1891. He enlisted in the U.S. Army two months before the end of World War I.
