The conference, attended by some 50 Tunisian and foreign participants, gathered experts and constituent assembly members in charge of drafting the election law as well as delegates of the civil society and the independent election body ISIE ISIE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics ISIE International Society for Industrial Ecology . The aim was to discuss prerogatives and duties to be granted to the future national authority that will hold next parliamentary elections. Tunisian and international experts made short reports about the different angles of the election administration (typology, principles, mandate, budget, organisation) and also about similar experiences in countries like Palestine or Tasmania.
