Intentia International announces that Wolf Detroit Envelope Company has licensed and is implementing Intentia's Movex Paper to improve efficiencies in its Birmingham, Michigan and Angola, Indiana envelope manufacturing plants. The first Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution specifically designed for paper and converting manufacturers and distributors, Movex Paper integrates core financial/accounting, manufacturing and distribution functions with order fulfillment, supply chain and Web-enabled customer service capabilities. The contract with Wolf Detroit Envelope Company was signed in March. Implementation is expected to be complete by late September.

With 100 employees, Wolf Detroit Envelope Company manufactures customized envelopes, in batch or repetitive modes, for the direct marketing, publishing and banking/financial industries, as well as for corporations, government agencies, not-for-profit groups and foundations.

According to John Dennison, Wolf Detroit Envelope Company controller, "When we decided to upgrade from the IBM S/36 to the AS/400e, we selected Movex Paper because we wanted state-of-the-art technology across the board. Movex Paper's attribute-based product matrix and strong EDI and customer service capabilities were strong decision factors, as was the ability to move up to Intentia's Java-enabled version in the future, if we so desire." Once implemented, Movex Paper will have about 30 users.
