For Just $200, Scott Jackson Won $25,000 in Cash, the Chance to Win a $500,000 Home in Irvine -- and Helped Save Key School Programs!


IRVINE, Calif. -- It slipped Scott Jackson's mind that he'd purchased a school fundraiser raffle ticket for $200 -- until he was notified that he won $25,000 in cash as well as the opportunity to win a brand new $500,000 home in Irvine!

Jackson, a partner of the prestigious Newport Beach-based firm, Jackson, DeMarco, Tidus & Peckenpaugh, purchased the ticket through a fundraiser now being conducted by the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF IPSF Internet Protocol Service Fabric (Virtela)

) to support essential programs at risk of being cut. Key to the fundraiser is a House Raffle for a brand new $500,000 townhome built by William Lyon Homes in the new award-winning village of Woodbury in Irvine. Raffle tickets are $200 each; and the deadline to purchase tickets is May 13, 2005.

"I'm a strong believer in giving back to the community," said Jackson. "I've raised my family in Orange County and I'm a partner is an Orange County business. Buying the ticket just seemed like the right thing to do -- little did I know that I'd actually win!"

All IPSF Raffle ticket holders are eligible to win the grand prize home by William Lyon Homes as well as more than $100,000 in cash and other prizes. To date, about 10,000 people throughout California have purchased tickets for the Raffle. Only a limited number of tickets still remain for sale before the May 13 deadline.
