Footwear stores takes 1,600 SF on Fifth Ave. (Retail Scene).

In a transaction arranged by the leasing team of Jason Pruger, Jedd Nero and Robert Gibson, Aerosoles, a leading brand of footwear and accessories based in Edison, N.J., has inked a 1,600-SF lease at 168 Fifth Ave. The long-term deal was originated by the team while at Newmark New Spectrum. Pruger, Nero and Gibson, currently with CB Richard Ellis Retail, worked closely with Andrew Mandel, who represented the property ownership, 168 Firth Avenue Realty Corp.

Located in the heart of the Flatiron District, a major shopping neighborhood in New York City, the new Aerosoles store represents another step in the footwear retailer's expansion plans throughout the City and nationally.

"168 Fifth Ave. provided Aerosoles with an excellent opportunity to be centrally located in the thriving and heavily trafficked Flatiron retail district," said Pruger. Aerosoles will occupy 1,600 SF of retail space on the main floor at 168 Fifth Ave. The shoe retailer joins such notable tenants located in the Flatiron area as Ann Taylor, Sephora, Banana Republic, MAC, Intermix, Club Monaco and Emporio Armani.
