Foote, Cone office to close after loss of Mattel account. (Media).


IT's no longer all fun and games "Fun and Games" is an episode of the original The Outer Limits television show. It first aired on 30 March, 1964, during the first season. Opening narration
 at the El Segundo El Segundo (ĕl sēgŭn`dō), industrial city (1990 pop. 15,223), Los Angeles co., S Calif., on Santa Monica Bay; inc. 1917. Its products include navigation and computer systems, aircraft parts, office machines, telephone apparatus, and  office of Interpublic Group of Companies' Foote, Cone & Belding.

Following the ad agency's loss of Mattel Inc.'s boys/entertainment division account, the office is preparing to shut down by the end of the month. The El Segundo location has about 25 employees.

The office was opened last year to work with FCB See DOS FCB.

El Segundo-based Mattel put three of its advertising accounts up for review earlier this year. FCB dropped out of the review for the boys/entertainment work.
