But it is not happening for Fowler. I never thought for a second that Aston Villa's Darius Vassell would one day get the nod over Fowler for an England place. And when Owen and Emile Heskey need a rest, Sven-Goran Eriksson clearly prefers Vassell and Teddy Sheringham as the next choices.
