Football Spy: Pulis aims to pull Walters; sale pounds 1m.

PREMIER new boys Stoke City are making a pounds 1million bid for Ipswich striker Jon Walters.

Boss Tony Pulis Anthony Richard "Tony" Pulis (born January 16, 1958 in Newport) is a Welsh former football player and is currently the manager of Stoke City.[1] Pulis obtained his FA coaching badge at the age of 19, followed by his UEFA 'A' licence aged 21 - making him one of the  wants Walters, who impressed him at Championship level last season.

The powerful front runner has been a big hit since arriving at Portman Road, and was voted Town's player of the year last season.

Pulis also wants Rangers' former Wigan Wigan (wĭg`ən), city (1991 pop. 88,725) and metropolitan district, N England, located in the Manchester metropolitan area on the Douglas River.  hitman Lee McCulloch, who would like a return to England.
