 Jerome Alonzo claims he is being chased by Bolton and three Championship clubs.

Alonzo, 35, is ready to quit Paris St Germain after seven years and insists Gary Megson's side are among those who want to sign him.

Alonzo said: "I have already had approaches from Bolton, Derby and Cardiff, as well as Queens Park Rangers Rapidly deployable airborne light infantry organized and trained to conduct highly complex joint direct action operations in coordination with or in support of other special operations units of all Services. .

"The phone has not stopped ringing for the last few weeks. The only thing I do not want to do is go somewhere on trial.

"I have already been asked but it is not right for a player of my age."
