Football Spy: Eriksson to get bullet on Friday.

Byline: By MARTIN LIPTON

SVEN Goran Eriksson's reign at Manchester City will end on Friday when he will be sacked by owner Thaksin Shinawatra.

The former England boss (above) has been a dead man walking at Eastlands since April.

And while the Swede is lined up as the new boss of Mexico, he will advise the Chelsea hierarchy on who should take over at Stamford Bridge.

Mexican Football Federation president Justino Compean said: "We talked with Mr Eriksson and we are closing in on him."
