N football, one player's misfortune is always another player's opportunity and that's just what has happened at Everton this week.

While Lee Carsley Lee Carsley (born February 28, 1974 in Birmingham, England) is a professional football player for Everton, and who represents the Republic of Ireland internationally (his grandmother is from Dunmanway, County Cork).  will have three matches to contemplate the folly of his actions in getting sent off on Wednesday, his subsequent suspension could provide an opening for one of my favourite players at Goodison to show his versatility and professionalism.

Stephen Craig Watson (born April 1, 1974 in North Shields) is an English footballer, currently playing for Sheffield Wednesday, whom he joined on a 2 year deal on 10 July 2007.
 has played a number of positions for the Blues equally well. He was bought primarily as a right-back, but has also played right-midfield, centre-half and on a couple of notable occasions even centre-forward!

Now he could get the chance to play as a holding central midfield, if David Moyes continues with the 4-5-1 formation he has used most of the season, or on the right of midfield if he goes 4-4-2.

If he does feature, his undoubted talent means that Cars-ley may find it difficult to get back in again despite the undoubted effectiveness of his performances this season. Joseph Yobo has discovered how hard it can be to break into a winning team and Carsley may find the same difficulties.
