I SAW Aston Villa comfortably overcome Fulham last weekend -- but equally I saw little that Everton should fear ahead of today's Goodison clash.

By Chris Coleman's own admission, Fulham were very poor -- and one of Villa's brighter performers that day, Darius Vassell Darius Warren Vassell aka The Pink Panther (born June 13 1980 to Jamaican parents in Sutton Coldfield) is an English international footballer who plays club football in the Premiership at Manchester City. , is now injured.

Despite David O'Leary's ability to talk a good game which I suspect is currently a bid to secure an improved contract Villa's performances have not matched their manager's hype.

Juan Pablo Juan Pablo is a common Spanish given name. It is the equivalent of "John Paul" in English or "Jean-Paul" in French. Some famous people with this name:
  • Juan Pablo Ángel (born 1975), Colombian football player
  • Juan Pablo Bennett (1871-1951), Chilean dictator
Angel has pedigree as a goalscorer, but he is not the type of striker that you would worry about facing.

He is not overly physical, he doesn't run past players and he is not dominant in the air.

I hope that's not tempting fate, but I see no reason why Everton can't extend their excellent run this afternoon.
