It was thought Brian Little Brian Little can refer to:
  • William Brian Little, financier and founding partner of Forstmann Little & Company
  • Brian Little (footballer), English football (soccer) player
  • Bryan Little, Canadian ice hockey player
 would use the fixture to rest key personnel such as Jason McAteer Jason Wynn McAteer (b. 18 June 1971, Birkenhead, England) is a former Irish international football player. He announced his retirement from professional football on 12 June 2007.  and Mark Rankine. However, the manager has made it clear he wants to progress in the competition.

The Rovers boss said: ``I want to win on Tuesday night so I will pick my best team.

``We had a disappointment a couple of weeks ago against Bradford.

I didn't enjoy it. I just don't want to lose games.

``We will try to win every game.

``That's not to say there won't be a change, but I genuinely want to pick as strong a side as I can. ``I want to win the game. ''
