WARRINGTON TOWN will be desperate to kicks tart their league season when they take on Belper Town in the Uni Bond First Division at Cantilever Park today.

Glen Walker's men slipped into the bottom three in the table after last Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Spalding United, Town's third consecutive league reverse.

Although Warrington bounced back to win 4-1 at Colwyn Bay in the Uni Bond Challenge Cup first round in midweek, they have won only once in 12 league games since their opening day victory, ironically at Belper.

Warrington are in Liverpool Senior Cup The Liverpool Senior Cup is a football knockout tournament involving teams from the city of Liverpool, England and surrounding areas. It is the County Cup competition of the Liverpool County Football Association and involves non-league clubs as well as the three professional teams  action at Formby next Tuesday.
