Stephen Torpey (born December 8 1970 in Islington, London) is an English football player, currently playing for Lincoln City.
 is back on the goalscoring trail with Prescot Cables after returning from Altrincham.

The striker, away from Valerie Park since early October, scored his first goal in his second game back last Saturday to give Tommy Lawson's men a 1-0 win at Matlock Town.

Torpey was second top scorer for Prescot last season with 15 goals, and boss Lawson said: 'Steve has been patient since he has come back and he got his chance when Jason Massie took a knock.

'He is up for the battle to try to get his place back on a regular basis.

'Steve went to Altrincham to try his luck, and for one reason or another, it didn't pan out. He said he wanted to come back and get involved with us again and I think he feels comfortable with Prescot
