V PORTSMOUTH, TODAY, 3PM: Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has revealed a phone call from Sam Allardyce last weekend helped to ease his FA Cup pain.

Warnock was disgusted at his side's 3-0 third-round defeat by Swansea but calmed down after speaking to Allardyce.

"Sam called me on Sunday and told me the best thing that happened to Bolton in their first few seasons in the Premiership was being knocked out of the FA Cup early," said Warnock.
