PORTHMADOG, Haverfordwest and Newtown could be among the sides to benefit from a back door entry into European competition.

The current Fair Play table for the Welsh Premier was revealed this week.

Whoever picks up the fewest yellow and red cards can enter an end-of-season draw for a European place if their national association is high enough in the Uefa Fair Play League.

are also top of the Fair Play league, but if they finish first their place could pass to the next most disciplined team.

The Saints have 56 penalty points, followed by Porthmadog (60), Haverfordwest (70) and Newtown (84).

As a national association, Wales has only finished high enough once for one of its clubs to enter the draw. On that occasion potential benefactors Druids were not picked out.
