A team made up of former Dundee and Dundee United stars including Ray Farningham and Frank Kopel Frank Kopel born (28 March 1949 in Falkirk) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a left back. The match marked the opening of a new pavilion at Invergowrie which has been named after club secretary Gibb in recognition of his loyal service to the Tayside amateur outfit OUTFIT. A delighted Gibb said: 'There was a big turnout, the weather was great, the football was good and there was no shortage of beer.

'That means it was a perfect day in my book, regardless of the result.'

Gibb has served Invergowrie for almost 30 years and club official Graeme Hodge is delighted his colleague has finally received some recognition for all his hard work. Hodge said: 'It's so important to have someone at a club who is not thinking only about the footballing side of things.

'Billy does all the work that nobody else wants to do. He grafts so hard behind the scenes.

'He's steered this club through some difficult times over the years and it's safe to say there wouldn't be an Invergowrie if it weren't for Billy Gibb.'
