Football: Lovell: Don't put the boots on Brew.

Stephen William Henry Lovell (b. December 6, 1980) is an English football striker, who currently plays for Aberdeen.

Brewster was born in Stobswell, Dundee and grew up a Dundee United supporter.

But the Aberdeen star hopes the Inverness boss stays in his manager's suit and isn't tempted to pull on the boots again.

Brew spent eight months at Pittodrie after Jimmy Calderwood snapped him up following his disappointing spell as Dundee United gaffer.

Having trained and played with Brew, Lovell is not surprised the Highland outfit's results have improved since his former team-mate picked up their managerial reins again.

Inverness head to Pittodrie on January 2 and Lovell said: "Craig is a brilliant player but I hope he stays in the dugout on Wednesday."
