INVERURIE LOCOS may top the league on goal difference but boss John Gardiner John Gardiner could refer to:

 still reckons the title is heading for Huntly.

The Christie Park Christie Park is a sportsground located in the Lower North Shore Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park. Christie Park (along with North Sydney Oval) was the home to the now defunct Northern Spirit FC.

The park itself is owned by the Gladesville-Hornsby Football Association (GHFA).
 outfit have three games in hand on Gardiner's men while third-placed Fraserburgh a point further behind with an extra game left.

Ex-Dons keeper Gardiner is a legend at Huntly after helping the side to an historic five consecutive championships a decade ago but he's now hoping they suffer an allmighty collapse during the run-in.

Gardiner, who has turned Locos into a force to be reckoned with in the Highland League just five years after their step up from the juniors, said: 'Huntly definitely have the upper-hand as they can afford to lose a couple of games and still win the league'They would have to suffer a dramatic loss of form not to lift the title now and I just can't see that happening as they look awesome at the minute.

'They certainly seem to be getting the run of play that champions enjoy - scoring last-minute winners like the one against Deveronvale.

'However, until it is mathematically impossible, we will keep fighting to stay in the hunt as anything can happen in this game
