Football: Loan rangers set for Albion; ALBION NEWS.

TONY Mowbray Tony Mowbray, (born November 22 1963), is a former professional football player and the manager of West Bromwich Albion. Playing career
Mowbray played for Middlesbrough, Celtic, and finally Ipswich Town as a tough centre half.
 intends making full use of the loan system next season and may turn to the Premier League's big four in his search for possible signings.

"If the right ones aren't available we won't be using them.

"We're not going to use two loans for the sake of using two loans.

"If people aren't available in the summer they might be available in January and we've got to remember that.

"It is cost-effective as well because you might be getting a player who is worth pounds 5million or pounds 10million and you only need to pay his salary.

"If you can do that for a year you take the hit on what it costs you to pay him because there is no longterm outlay.

"We need to look at that and hopefully use it well."
