The 4-0 victory margin was a fitting end to a consistent season for Bronze which saw them narrowly miss out on a coveted promotion spot.

Two-goal hero Shaun Cas-sidy was joined on the scoresheet by Shaun Mooney and Neil Black-more.

In sharp contrast, beaten opponents Shaftesbury suffered a miserable league campaign that saw them finish second from bottom and having to seek re-election.

The West Cheshire Bowl final between Maghull Reserves and Halton was a closer contest which was finally settled on penalties.

Doubles from Simon Andrews, Ilya Aycock and James Robinson anchored John Cadwallader's charges to an impressive 6-1 triumph.

Ellesmere Port (John Powell, Mark Smythe) wound up their campaign with a 2-0 win at Poulton Victoria.

And after months of battling against relegation, Newton maintained their winning sequence with a 5-2 result against Cammell Laird Res thanks to efforts from Archie Mclntyre (2), Lee Prior, Jamie Hannah and an own goal.
