COLWYN BAY Colwyn Bay (kôl`wĭn), Welsh Bae Colwyn, town (1991 pop. 27,002), Conwy, N Wales. It is a popular seaside resort. Colwyn Bay has an amusement park, several theaters, a zoo, a botanic garden, and the Pwllychrochan Woods.  manager Neil Young has a fully fit squad for today's home game against joint Unibond Division One North leaders Halifax Town (3pm), when victory would lift them into the play-off places for the first time this season.

The Seagulls are defending a six-match winning run and are further boosted by the return of recent signing Eddie Jebb from illness.

With Halifax expecting to bring around 300 supporters with them, Colwyn Bay are anticipating their biggest gate of the season.

And with Lancaster City having no game, victory will lift Colwyn Bay above them.

But the manager is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

"The lads have shown great character and togetherness to get us into this position," he said.

"But there is a long way to go with a lot of tough games to come, and it is always difficult sustaining a winning run when you are playing two games a week as we were are at the moment.

"We did well to win our last two games against very difficult opponents in the space of three days and we are under no illusions that Halifax will be another huge challenge. But we will be doing our utmost to get another good result."
