Chelsea midfielder Lampard has seen England drop to third in Group E behind Russia and Croatia after last month's dismal defeat in Zagreb.

And Lampard admits they must get their act together or face the desperate blow of failing to qualify for the European Championships.

Lampard said: "I'm confident we will qualify but when those Euro games come around, we have to be on top form.

"I know we've had the hiccup hiccup or hiccough, involuntary spasmodic contraction of the diaphragm followed by a sharp intake of air, which is abruptly stopped by a sudden, involuntary closing of the glottis (opening between the vocal cords); the consequent blocking of air  lately which means all of a sudden we are not in top position but we can't dwell on dwell on or upon
