Football: LIVI PUT THEIR FAITH IN THE HANDS OF SNOD; MORTON 1 LIVINGSTON 1.

LIVI salvaged a point thanks to Robert a Snodgrass fluke but had Murray Davidson and Alan Walker There are several notable people named Alan Walker:

 both sent off in the final minutes.

The Lions roared into action in this drop zone battle and in five minutes Mark Tinkler's header was knocked off the line by Scott McLaughlin Scott McLaughlin (born 20 January 1984 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer. He is currently playing for Greenock Morton in the Scottish First Division.

McLaughlin plays in centre midfield for Greenock Morton.

Morton almost scored when defender James McPake James McPake (born June 2, 1984 in Bellshill, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer, currently playing for Livingston F.C. in the Scottish Football League First Division as a striker but he can play as a defender.  crashed the ball against Jim McAlister sending it zipping towards goal but Livi keeper Colin Stewart made a great save.

McAlister sidefooted Morton's opener in 28 minutes after a great run and pull back from Allan Jenkins. Morton skipper Peter Weatherson then forced a fine one-handed save from Stewart as the Cappielow men turned up the heat.

Livi fought back and Steven Craig clipped the inside of the post with a low, shot from 16 yards in 40 minutes.

The second half was a more gritty affair but Weatherson whacked a volley from 30 yards which went wide before Livi levelled with a deflection off Snodgrass.

Graham Dorrans strode forward before unleashing a 30-yard shot which hit Snodgrass (right) and hurtled into the top corner on the hour.

Livi sub Davidson was shown a straight red for a reckless tackle on Kevin Finlayson then Walker followed for lunging into a melee of players in stoppage time.
