Football: LIONS STILL TOOTHLESS; Millwall 1 Crewe 3.


MILLWALL striker Bruce Dyer Bruce Antonio Dyer (born 13 April 1975 in Ilford, London) is an English professional football player, who plays as a striker. He is currently playing at Rotherham United, on loan from Doncaster Rovers  is confident the club will avoid relegation, despite seeing them slump to another defeat.

Dyer, who is on loan from Stoke, made his debut on Saturday but could not prevent a defeat that leaves Millwall at the foot of the Championship, four points adrift of next-to-bottom Plymouth.

Millwall are in dire financial straights and boss Colin Lee Colin Lee (born 12 June 1956 in Torquay, Devon) is an English football manager and former footballer. He is currently Chief Executive of Conference National side Torquay United.  is having to patch up his squad with loaned players.

But Dyer says Millwall will avoid the drop. "I have been in relegation scraps before and I am confident we can pull together and be alright," he said. "The players are 100 per cent determined to stay up."
