Cup crunch - but reckons Celtic are ready to end their winning run.

And he laughed off claims the Hoops are in crisis ahead of the Old Firm clash at Ibrox.

The Celtic midfielder has watched Gers put together an 11-game unbeaten run and conceded that with home advantage the Light Blues are strongly fancied.

But Lennon also pointed to the fact that Celtic, with the exception of last week's loss to Aberdeen, have been winning games without hitting top form.

He said: "Rangers might go into the game as slight favourites for the first time in a while. They are on the up and have been on a good run, but it's a game we believe we can win if we play to our best.

"Without playing at the top of our game we have still been winning.

"At the minute, we are at the top of the league and still in with a chance of staying in Europe, so I don't think it is the crisis people have been trying to make out."
