for Stenny to salvage a point they barely deserved.

Sons dominated possession and enjoyed the bulk of the chances but couldn't add to Andy Geggan's early opener and ultimately paid the price.

The visitors started brightly and hit the front after 11 minutes when trialist Kenny Wright crossed for Geggan to nod home.

Warriors fought back after the goal with Paul Tyrell going close with a volley and Patrick Mailey forcing David Crawford into a fine save.

Dumbarton almost doubled their lead seconds before the break with skipper Gordon Lennon crashing a fine header off the bar.

Sons passed up another chance five minutes after the restart when Tommy Coyne did well to find space but fired straight at Alistair Brown.

Coyne then missed with another weak shot before Stenny equalised.

With 10 minutes to go Jose Quitongo delivered a cracking cross and Harty powered home a header.
