Tamworth continued their impressive form with a comprehensive victory over high-flying Salisbury.

Striker Mark Hallam was the star of the show with two great strikes as City were torn apart by Tamworth's energetic display.

The first goal came in the 20th minute when Hallam took advantage of some hesitant defending to stab home a Nick Colley Nick Colley (born September 4, 1974 in Lichfield, England) is a semi-professional footballer currently playing for Conference North side Worcester City where he plays as a Midfielder. City hit back with a fortunate goal before the break when David Wakefield's cross was deflected over Tamworth keeper Darren Acton and in off the back post.

But Tamworth resumed their dominance in the second half and substitute Richard Follett, making his debut, fired home from 25 yards.

Tamworth's attacking continued and Hallam capped a superb performance with a towering header into the bottom corner from a Dave Haywood cross in the 71st minute.

Hallam should have completed his hat-trick ten minutes from time but City keeper Justin Shuttlewood managed to scramble his lob round the post.

Halesowen bounced back and looked to have won the game in the 84th minute through a solo effort by Steve Piearce who beat three defenders before crashing the ball home.

Stafford Rangers ... 1

Dorchester Town... 0

STAFFORD got back to winning ways after two successive defeats with a hard fought victory over lowly Dorchester.

Early on Dorchester had Danny O'Hagan bringing the best out of home keeper Richard Williams. But Rangers also had their opportunities when Tony Eccleston got in a low shot which visiting keeper Mark Ormerod did well to save.

Six minutes from the break Rangers broke the deadlock when Eccleston got on the end of a cross from Darren Boughey and beat Ormerod with a superb overhead effort.

The second period saw chances at both ends and Williams did well to block a far post effort from Matt Groves. At the other end a cross from Steve Jones Steve or Steven Jones is the name of:

But justice was done when Andy De Vont dived full length to save Moor Green a point.

Earlier, in the 75th minute, it was substitute David Thomas who put the Welshman in the lead with a well placed header from a left wing cross.

This would have been a gross injustice as Moor Green had played a full part in a match full of non stop action.

Bath City ... 1

Ilkeston Town ... 1

ILKESTON took away a deserved league point, making amends for last weekend's crushing 6-1 home defeat against Weymouth.

Bath City opened strongly and fell in the opening first ten minutes when they missed two good chances.

There was not much to choose between the two sides and after 30 minutes there was a tussle between Bath City's Martin Paul and 'The Robins' Matt McKenzie, after this the visitors went ahead from the resulting free-kick with a good header by Jamie Clarke.

Worcester City ... 2

Crawley Town ... 0

A WEAKENED Worcester side pulled out all the stops to record an impressive victory over Crawley.

Manager John Barton was without nine key players as his side tried to end a run of five defeats in their last six matches.

But thanks to plenty of grit as well as superior football they dominated the contest and could have won by a bigger margin. Skipper Carl Heeley gave them a 35th minute lead when he headed home a Mike Wyatt corner.

Worcester created several chances before making the points safe on 70 minutes, when an error set-up Wyatt whose shot deflected into the path of Carl Tranter who slotted home.
